Mount Baru Jari.
Gunung Baru is the name of the new volcano which emerged in the
center of Segara Anak Lake. People believe that Gunung Baru is the
navel of Mt. Rinjani. That is why if Gunung Baru erupted it will not
harm the people of Lombok unless the eruption is from the peak of
Mt. Rinjani.
Segara Anak Lake
Segara Anak Lake is so wide it appears like the sea with its blue
water. The name Segara Anak means child of the sea. Segara Anak Lake
holds various mysteries and invisible power.
The Peak of Rinjani
The people of Lombok believe that the peak of Mt. Rinjani is where
Dewi Anjani, the queen spirit and ruler of Mt. Rinjani lives. To the
south-east from the peak in a sea of dust called Segara Muncar is
the invisible palace of the queen Dewi Anjani and her followers.
TREKKING MOUNT RINJANI WITH GREENERY LOMBOK COUNTRY SIDE

TREK ITINERARY:
Day 1: MATARAM AIRPORT - HATI SUCI SAPIT EAST LOMBOK. (D)
Pick you up in Mataram airport/Lembar Harbor Lombok then transfer
directly to Hatisuci. rest and enjoy it the atmosphere of Hatisuci.
Free time at your own leisure.
Day 2: HATI SUCI SIGHTSEEINGHati SURROUNDING THE VILLAGE. (B, L, D)
we have very nice natural scenery and landscape. it's quite famous
called "Small canyon walks" it is good option before we treks the
mountain. also we could see the Rinjani mountain clearly in the
morning from Hati suci. also we have good food!
IF we leave on 25 Nopemeber 05, you will give us a day to organise
anything what we need during the Rinjani expeditions 4 days 3
nights. you will arrived in mataram airport late afternoon. then we
need another 2 hours to drive to hatisuci. it is same distance
mataram to Senaru.
Day 3: HATI SUCI - SEMBALUN VILLAGE - CRATER RIM SEMBALUN VILLAGE.
(B, L, D)
Trekking registration at Rinjani trekking centre, trekking group
departs Sembalun village (1156Masl) to Tengengean second post. Rest
and light breakfast. Then treks up to Pada Balong third camp
(1800Masl), Rest and Lunch. After Lunch Treks up to reach the Crater
Rim of sembalun (2639Masl). By 4pm arrived, Dinner, Rest and
Overnight.
Day 4: CRATER RIM SEMBALUN - SUMMIT - LAKE - HOTSPRING. (B, L, D)
Wake 2am and Having Light breakfast then by 3am starts to trek up
the top (summit) of Mount Rinjani (3726Masl). after sightseeing and
enjoying the spectacular view of Rinjani Mt,Back down to the Crater
Rim Sembalun for Breakfast. Then walking down to the Lake
(1900Masl), Hotspring. Best time for doing Natural Sauna. Lunch will
be served by our own cook.
Day 5: MOUNT RINJANI LAKE - CRATER RIM SENARU. (B, L, D)
Breakfast on the lake camping then Continuing treks up to the Crater
Rim senaru (2641Masl) and Rest, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 6: CRATER RIM SENARU - SENARU VILLAGE - SENGGIGI HOTEL. (B)
After Breakfast and enjoying the morning view, we begin to treks
down to Senaru village by passing through Mondokan Lolak (2000Masl)
and Montong Satas (1500Masl), Rest and Lunch. Then continuing to
Senaru village (601Masl)where the Car is already waiting for you.
Rest and greets to each others. Leaving Senaru to Senggigi (your
next destination).
